Koolau Golf driving range being transformed into a humungous kids Easter hunt this Saturday! http://bit.ly/9Ub9YE Kinda like this.

>10,000 balls >10,000 eggs, >10 acres to hunt
An island-wide community event sponsored by First Prez Ko‘olau

 · Free “Egg Hunt” at 9 am
 · Food booths
 · Giant Inflatables
 · Face painting
 · Balloon Art
 · Food and fun!

Insider’s hint:
If you’re bringing kids, plan to arrive at 8:30 am so you can park, get oriented, and be ready for the 9 am golf ball/egg hunt start. Don’t be late: those 10,000 golf balls get swooped up in about 2 minutes!  But it’s soooo much fun! Stick around for inflatables, food and fun.

And please come say hi to me! I’ll be in the Fun Food booth scooping popcorn, swirling cotton candy, and who knows what else!

Anyone else always find it a little freaky to watch bonita flakes moving on your food?

Okonomiyaki making at Chibo

Not exactly stop-action video, but as close as I can get with my little iPhone.

We loved watching the chef cook okonomiyaki, teppanyaki, and yakisoba on the grill fronting our counter seats. This restaurant has wonderful ambience, and a very friendly feeling. The background jazz music set the perfect tone for a relaxing, delicious evening.
